Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists are healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limits their abilities to move and perform functional activities as well as they would like in their daily lives.  They examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability such as:

  • back and neck injuries
  • sprains/strains and fractures
  • arthritis
  • burns
  • amputations
  • stroke
  • multiple sclerosis

Physical therapists evaluate and diagnose movement dysfunction and use interventions to treat patient/clients.  Interventions may include therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, assistive and adaptive devices and equipment, and physical agents and electrotherapeutic modalities.

Your mobility is important to you.  The physical therapists at Active Home HealthCare Services, Inc. assign the same value to it just as much as you do.  We match your commitment to getting better by providing you with one-on-one treatment.  We will be guided by a care plan recommended for you by your physician.

These are the treatment inclusions:
  • Assistance with daily living activities and exercise programs
  • Balance Training, Body Mechanics and Strength Training
  • Massage Therapy
  • Pain Management
  • Safety Orientation and Fall Prevention
